Set Of 2 Plastic Side Mounting Brackets For Rigid Framed Solar Panels

Set of 2 plastic side mounting brackets for securing rigid framed solar panels to flat roofs on motorhomes, caravans, boats or buildings.

These extremely robust, solid plastic brackets provide additional support for larger solar panels when used in conjunction with our corner mounting brackets (they can also be used as the main supporting brackets on smaller panels, although 2 sets may be required). They fit most solar panels that are housed in an aluminium frame and can be directly bonded to the flat mounting surface using a suitable polyurethane adhesive/sealant, so there’s no need for any drilling.

Installation: Holes should be drilled in each bracket, and corresponding holes in the solar panel frame. The brackets should then be fixed to the solar panel using self-tapping screws (not included). Finally, the brackets can be bonded to the mounting surface using an appropriate adhesive/sealant. We recommend preparing the mounting surface and the bottom of the brackets with panel wipes or similar to thoroughly degrease them before applying the sealant.
